Nong-Ru Cheng Lee is an artist, educator, and researcher, holding a Ph.D. in Fine Arts, Design, and New Technologies from the University of Malaga, Spain. Currently, he serves as a Chinese language teacher at the Official School of Languages in Valencia (EOI) and collaborates as an Assistant Professor in the Area of East Asian Studies at the Universitat de València (UV). His academic journey spans the realms of both art and cognitive linguistics, uniquely blending these disciplines. Noteworthy is his involvement in diverse projects, including the scientific translation of the Terracotta Army Site for the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ) and his contributions to the «EOInnova» and «Artistic Resistances: Artistic Processes in Educational Environments,» both innovation and educational investigation projects by the Education, Culture, and Sports Department of the Valencian Government. His focus on cross-cutting disciplines is reflected in specialized publications that analyze visual language and communication in the art and design of the Asian market. Additionally, he stands out for his research in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, utilizing visual and cognitive linguistic tools to facilitate L2 learning.
