Bio note

Daniel Ka-Chun Chan, is a Taiwanese-Italian writer, translator and academic. Born and raised in Hong Kong, his academic career took him to London, where he completed a BA in Translation and Interpreting, followed by an MA in Chinese Studies at SOAS, University of London. In addition to his formal studies, Daniel has actively participated in courses at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the National Taiwan University, and the University of Valencia. He is a member of both the European Association of Taiwan Studies (EATS) and the European Association of Chinese Studies (EACS). Beyond his academic achievements, Daniel is a noted screenwriter, having won multiple awards worldwide for his work. He currently divides his time between his home in Barcelona and Edinburgh, where he is dedicated to the promotion of Chinese language and culture at the University of Edinburgh.
